Aaron Timmons
Program Director
Aaron joined KSTC/AdvanceKentucky in August 2016 as Math Content Manager and currently serves as Program and Mathematics Content Director for the College Readiness Program. Prior, he taught mathematics, including AP Calculus AB and BC, at Bryan Station High School in Fayette County for 10 years. During that time, he served for 7 years on the school’s Site Based Decision Making Council and was also Mathematics Content Coordinator during Bryan Station’s participation with the College Readiness Program. In addition, Aaron has been part of several school and district committees involving curriculum and grading. He is a National Math and Science Initiative (NMSI) endorsed trainer for Laying the Foundation (LTF), has consulted for their AP exam review sessions, and has been a reader for the AP Calculus exam. Aaron earned a BS in mathematical economics from the University of Kentucky and completed master’s programs at UK and Eastern Kentucky University. He resides in Woodford County with his wife and 2 children.
