Content-rich Teacher Training
is a vital element of AdvanceKentucky's annual activities. This is carried out in several ways described below.

Summer Leader Training

Mentors are assigned to individual teachers to work one-on-one with throughout the year; a general timetable is offered for developing this collegial relationship. [Content Coordinators assist their subject matter colleagues with the communications and organization of your school's participation in the program, particularly concerning vertical teaming and Study Sessions.]* An AP teacher in active cohort schools will earn part of the Teacher Stipend by attendance and active participation at each of these events, which must be reported by the teacher in the AdvanceKentucky online Data Reporting System.
